Creative Writing Workshop
The traces of the past live within the cracks of your consciousness. Accessible and elusive at once, these phantasmatic fragments are the seeds of untold stories. How can you recover the voice and the perspective of the child you once were and integrate them into a compelling story? How can you connect with ancestors you may have never met and whose stories you nonetheless carry deep inside your memory? In this workshop you will shape the traces of the past into stories that are rooted in the real, the remembered, the imagined. You will embark on a journey to rediscover and explore the reverberating meaning of the past in your life. Through accessible writing prompts that will help you overcome those challenges that impede the creative process, you will begin or deepen your own journey into memoir writing.
