Comprehensive courses of general Italian language and culture

Comprehensive courses of general Italian language and culture are for Italian speaking children who are registered at local schools in the elementary and junior grades, in accordance with the Law 3 March 1971, n. 153.

Classes take place once a week, on Tuesday, from 4.30 to 6.30 pm, for 31 weeks for a total of 64 hours.

The main objective of the course is to achieve an adequate competence in Italian to be able to communicate in a social and learning context. The curriculum is based on acquiring language skills and knowledge of general Italian culture, including history and geography.

Società Dante Alighieri, Amman Committee, has been recognized “Managing Entity” by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2010 and has been assigned a financial contribution to partially pay the costs of the courses while the rest is covered by the annual fees.

At the end of the course, students will receive the certificate of attendance recognized by MIUR.
