SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ITALIAN LANGUAGE COURSES

Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) Jordan is excited to announce the opening of 4 Italian Language scholarships, provided by Società Dante Alighieri- Comitato di Amman, which is offering to refugees in Jordan the possibility to study Italian language.
This scholarship is part of a joint effort to expand learning and cultural exchange opportunities for motivated refugees.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that this scholarship is open ONLY to refugees (registered with UNHCR and unregistered).
The scholarship will run from September 2025 to September 2026, and it will bring each student from beginner level to A2.2 (pre-intermediate). You don’t need any prior knowledge of Italian to apply for this opportunity. The course will take place 3 days a week (7.5 hours per week), with in-person classes at Società Dante Alighieri, Amman in Jabal Amman, 3rd Circle. Study material and books are included. Scholarship recipients who attend the course will receive an ADA attendance certificate upon completion (official Italian language and culture courses certified certificate).
We are looking for committed individuals with a strong motivation to learn Italian and participate actively in the full program. Please answer each question clearly and honestly. The short-listed candidates will be invited for an interview to assess the motivation to apply for this opportunity. Refugees with resettlement procedures for Italy or plan to move to work and live in Italy are strongly encouraged to apply!
