CONFERENZA: “BOCCACIO, PASOLINI E L’ORIENTE”

On the occasion of the 650th anniversary of Giovanni Boccaccio’s death and the 50th anniversary of Pier Paolo Pasolini’s passing, the conference Boccaccio, Pasolini and the East, held by Prof. Mahmoud Jaran from the University of Jordan, explores the connections between two great authors united by their fascination with the East. A journey through literature, cinema, and worldviews, where the East is seen as a space of hope, otherness, and reflection. A dialogue between different eras, bound by the pursuit of meaning and beauty beyond the borders of the West.
